2009 Photographic Competition WINNERS ANNOUNCED
This year the theme for the annual Lachlan CMA photographic competition was “Living in the Lachlan”. The theme was chosen to encourage people to capture the beauty and diversity of the Lachlan Catchment in a photograph and to share their vision of what living in the Lachlan means to them.
The popularity of this competition was reflected in the number of entries received. The judges had to carefully look through and evaluate over 400 entries which were received from all areas of the Lachlan Catchment. The quality and diversity of the photos was evidence of the number of enthusiastic young photographers there are across the catchment and is reflective of the beauty of the Lachlan Catchment area.
While at the Australian National Field Days, Lachlan CMA Chairman, Mr Rob Gledhill announced the winners of this year’s competition. “This is a fun community competition for all ages which encouraged people to capture what living in the Lachlan means to them, I congratulate all of the 2009 winners”, Mr Gledhill said.
