On Friday 27th May, 150 students from across the Lachlan Catchment attended a unique environmental conference for kids at Forbes Public School.

The Kids Teaching Kids organisation in Australia is supported by Australia Post with Lachlan CMA being a major partner. 

What made this conference so special is that the entire proceedings were presented and run by the children themselves and they all presented their learnings in a variety of ways. Other activities on the day included Taronga Zoo Mobile and demonstrations of the didgeridoo and boomerang by the Lachlan CMA Cultural Heritage Unit.
