Kids Landcare Carnival held in Parkes 2011

Landcare is a highly valued partner of the Lachlan CMA through their close connections with the community. The Lachlan CMA supports the work of LachLandcare - the regional Landcare organisation, which is comprised of the chairs of all nine Landcare networks. LachLandcare is an advocate, communicator and mentor for Landcare ideas and action in the Lachlan Catchment 

The Lachlan CMA is a member of the Regional Landcare Facilitator Steering Committee and local CMA staff also work closely with their Landcare organisations to deliver joint projects to assist in rolling out District Engagement Plans.

The Lachlan CMA also contributes funding towards the employment of Landcare support officers on a part time basis across the catchment.
