What We Do
At the Lachlan CMA we work to achieve balance between productive and natural landscapes. Whether you're a small or large landholder, community group or local organisation the Lachlan CMA is here to work with you to care for the land, water, vegetation, biodiversity and the cultural heritage of the Lachlan Catchment. The Lachlan CMA recognises that long term natural resource change can only be achieved with the dynamic involvement of our community. Working side by side with many partners, Lachlan CMA encourages involvement and collaboration at each stage of the Natural Resource Management (NRM) process, from planning through to implementation.
Located in ten offices throughout the catchment area, we provide advice, information, strategic planning, professional development opportunities and practical assistance to assist with on farm decision making. Lachlan CMA can assist landholders identify, plan and implement NRM and sustainable farming projects to restore and rebuild our living landscapes. Together, we're making a difference, and with continuing fruitful partnerships, we look forward to making more progress with innovative and successful NRM into the future.
